- You can only change your password from the SonicPanel, it is not possible to show the password due to security reasons. The only password you can see is at the time you have received a welcome email from Purple Umbrella hosting company. If you forgot your SP login password, you can use the reset link on the login screen, if your email is set in the SonicPanel or you may contact support.
This is because passwords are no longer shown anywhere in the SonicPanel except on the first welcome or account email sent to the client. Due to security reasons, no passwords are stored in the database or in the system. We use different techniques that allow us to provide %100 secure passwords. The only way to retrive a password is to change/reset it or to contact support.
