Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) is the standard protocol for sending emails across the Internet. SMTP uses TCP port 25 or 587 and sometimes you can have
problems sending your messages in cases where your ISP has closed port 25, in this case you will have to use port 587 instead of port 25 in your email setup.
